Although it is well laid out, with a clean interface and an excellent selection of templates, I have the serious feeling that blogger was not really meant for the _serious_ blogger. Why do I say this? Well, for one, the wealth of options that Movable Type gave me is by and large missing from Blogger. A lot of what is done is behind the scenes. I suppose though, all in all, that’s not really a bad thing. After all, this is good enough for 90% of what I need to do. However, I’ve got to admit that I really do miss the flexibility of my MT installation.
I think I’ll use this as my alternate persona on the web. A kind of alter ego as it were. We’ll see if that works out. I wonder though, if I have enough problems updating one site, how will I scale with two? ;-)
