Just went and brought additional groceries today. This was brought on by my complete lack of milk – a serious problem, since cereal is often a major component of my dinner. Besides, yesterday I had a horrible experience with Hi-Lo cereal (how do they manage to make it taste like cardboard?) and I needed some other cereal to erase the memory.
As soon as I got back I realized that I had to take some sort of inventory of the food that I have to run through in a month and I guess it provides a snapshot of the sort of food that I’ve been eating. So, without further ado:
Cubboard:
- Tomato Paste
- Classico Pasta Sauce
- 1/8 package of sphaghetti
- 3 packages of Kashi Go-Lean cereal (the stuff is awesome!)
- 1 package of Barbaras High Grain Medley (great too!)
- 25 packages of herbal teas (mix of peppermint, lemon herb, raspberry)
- 10 packages of Tetley’s British Blend tea
- Assorted spices
Fridge:
- 946 mL of skim milk
- 1 package of fat free yogurt
- 3 lb of baby peeled carrots
- 1 package of garlic
- 1 package of ginger
- 1 jar of low-sugar apricot jam
Freezer:
- 1.5 packages of whole wheat bread
- 4 packages of Lean Cuisine frozen dinner
- 5 packages of Albertsons assorted frozen vegetables
Office:
- 1 package of Organic Milling Hi-Lo cereal
- 1 package of Kellogs All Bran
- 20 package of tea
“Where’s the beef”? IE, where’s the meat?
In the frozen dinners…
But yeah. I have a lack of meat.
