There’s a girl in a puffy, puffy jacket sitting in front of me. I use the phrase “in front” loosely – there’s a 15″ laptop screen between her back and my flying fingers.

This is Palo Alto, where, excepting the occasional heavy rain and flash flood, the weather rivals that of San Diego’s.
Hell, if I can survive with only a sweater, her puffy jacket’s overkill.
One of the big reasons I want to go to these places is to see the reaction of people on the rare occasions it snows, or the rare occasion that it’s cold/cool.
Well, the people in SF know the meaning of the phrase “wind chill”.
