I like watches.
If I could wear two I would, but I can’t, so I don’t.
No – I don’t use a cell, so I can’t (and won’t) use that as a substitute.
No – I don’t really like digitals, so most of mine are analog.
No – I don’t exclusively own quartz movement models.
BAM! iPod :D It has a clock feature on it :D
1. Equivalent to a cell phone
2. Digital display
Ergo, I would never use it as a clock!
Why can’t you where two watches? You have plenty of wrist space, plus you have two wrists!
[laughs]
I’d look like a dork if I did :~)
And you care that much about what people see? I’ve seen much dorkier, and from people who could not claim to be nearly as nerdy as you are simply by being a computer engineering student. Do what you want, not what people expect you to do! (And start by wearing a long sleeve shirt if it really bothers you, nobody will be the wiser!)
Rob has point(s). What about cell phones with analog displays?
Cell phones with analog displays look tacky.
Rob:
It’s all well and good to say “Do what you want…” but it ignores the fact that we do live in a society and we do interact with others.
So yes, I do care about what others see – not always – but it’s a consideration. People make judgements based on the most superficial of impressions.
